What is the best way to reach Carmelitana?

Leave the station (Gent-Sint-Pieters) through the main entrance and turn right into the street 'Pr.Clementinalaan'. Take streetcar T4 (direction Rabot - Muide - Lange Steenstraat) at platform 20. Get off at the stop 'Rabot' (Begijnhoflaan). Walk into Rabotstraat and turn left into Burgstraat. At Burgstraat 110-116 (black gate) ring the bell at 'Het Rustpunt' (left side of the street).

Return:
Turn right when you leave 'Het Rustpunt' and turn right into the Rabotstraat. At the stop 'Rabot'. There you take streetcar T4 direction 'UZ' until station Gent-Sint-Pieters.

Car

If you are coming from the direction of Brussels - Kortrijk - Oudenaarde

  1. You turn from the ring road to the New Walk (at the park, where the prison is)
  2. You drive across the water until you reach the red lights.
  3. There you turn right: Brugsepoortstraat
  4. Take the 2nd street on the left: Peperstraat
  5. At the end of the Peperstraat turn right into the Burgstraat : our store is nr 92. You can park on the parking lot in front of the church (free from the purchase of 10 euro).

If you are coming from the Dampoort

  1. Take the ring road via Dok Noord and Blaisantvest (where the new courthouse is) to the Rabot
  2. At the lights just go straight ahead towards Begijnhoflaan
  3. Past new courthouse building turn left: Brugsepoortstraat
  4. Take the 2nd street to the left: Peperstraat
  5. At the end of the Peperstraat turn right into the Burgstraat: our store is nr 92. You can park on the parking lot in front of the church (free from the purchase of 10 euro).
